Hey Guys,

wanted to clear up a common misconception a lot of people have about 3d art in general.

I always see people commenting things like "can you show me your shaders" as if it's some magical cure that's going to level up the quality of everything.

The reality is, it isn't. What's more important is....

Observational Skill

Without good observational skills, no technical ability can compensate for it.

It's the key to making art/animation that actually stands out.

shaders are just a way of translating our ideas into art.

That being said, I'm glad to say I just finished completing the observational skills series for my learning community.
