Blender Windy Armature Addon

Never animate wind again. Messing around with awkward and unpredictable physics settings is a thing of the past.
Want to change the wind strength on the fly? How about the wind speed or direction? How about the wind randomness or scale?
This can all be done on the fly with this addon - and you can Bake the results very easily.
This is the Windy Armature Addon - a new way to add wind to armatures in blender, as well as assist with overlapping action!

HOW TO BAKE: select the bones you want to bake, hit f3, type in 'bake action' and hit enter. a menu will come up, make sure to check on 'visual keying' and 'clear constraints' and hit ok.
Here you can see me playing around with strength. (might be a little laggy when you first open this page - gumroads slow sometimes)

Some important tips:
- going into edit mode on your armature and using cntrl r to change the direction is a really underrated feature. if you add wind to a bunch of bones that are nearby each other, having some of them going in opposite directions can add a lot of texture!
- When you try to animate the strength or any other parameter, make sure you uncheck "selected obects only" in the dope sheet so that you can animate it in the graph. Scroll and look for this parameter:
- ^^^I'd recommend just animating the influence of the bones because it's a bit easier and has basically the same effect. Additionally, you have full control over each individual bone
- when you're adding wind to bones make sure you select each bone chain at a time. Like if you're making a tree, add wind to the trunk, then each individual branch. dont just select all bones and hit the add wind button, it will think that you selected a whole chain
- When changing wind properties and stuff it will use the template of the current bone you have selected.
